Home again, – very tired and somewhat shaky, but otherwise well. I’ll update with more info/pics over the next few days but until then.
The stats:
Ada (on the right) – born 3:40am 24/01, 3020g, 47cm
Bea (on the left) – born 3:41am 24/01 , 3225g, 49cm
They were scheduled to make their way into the world on Friday 25th, but early Thursday morning they got together and decided to make a break for it. Short story is from waters breaking to Richard holding two new babes in his arms took approx 2.5 hrs. Ada was a very impatient footling breech, and now I have a lovely new scar to show for it.
They’re lovely bubs, on the whole extremely calm, but at the moment they are on completely different schedules and appear to be somewhat nocturnal. The result is, somewhat predictably, not very much sleep for me at the moment…
